About MyHep: MyHelp (Sofosbuvir) is a medicine mostly prescribed for patients suffering from hepatitis C, and it can treat genotypes 1, 2, 3 and 4 of hepatitis C. this medicine can be taken along with other medication. The other medications taken with MyHelp (Sofosbuvir) are usually pegylated interferon (for genotypes 1 and 4) and ribavirin (for all four genotypes).

How to use MyHep

This medicine will be prescribed for a period of 12 weeks in most cases for genotypes 1, 2 and 3. You can be instructed differently by your doctor, and you should follow the advice from your doctor. If you are taken pegylated interferon or ribavirin or both alongside MyHelp (Sofosbuvir), then you should take them at the same length of time. You are advised to take this medicine at the same time of the day. Taking the medicine in the morning helps to reduce the associated sleeping disorders and taking it with food reduces nausea.

MyHelp (Sofosbuvir) is usually prescribed at 400mg dosage. You may be prescribed with a different dosage depending on your height, the genotype of hepatitis C which has been contracted. You should only take a dosage that has been prescribed by your doctor. The dosage can be increased to 600mg per day, and this should depend on how the treatment is progressing.

MyHep Side Effects

Most patients tolerate MyHelp (Sofosbuvir), but sometimes, it is common for patients to experience: nausea and insomnia especially when they are starting to take medicine. The severity of these side effects can be reduced by taking MyHelp (Sofosbuvir) with food in case of nausea and taking the dosage in the morning in case of insomnia.

This medicine can reduce the count of red blood cell so there is need to have regular tests that can ensure that the levels remain within the normal limits. Taking this medicine can also affect the function of the liver. Patients with a history of pre-existing liver problems should not use MyHelp (Sofosbuvir). There should be regular liver function tests while treating hepatitis C with MyHelp (Sofosbuvir). MyHep Precautions
