About Soranib: Soranib (Sorafenib) is a medicine used mainly to treat two conditions: hepatocellular carcinoma which defines liver cancer and cancer found in the kidney popularly known as renal cell carcinoma. This medicine prevents further growth of cancer cells. It does this by inhibiting the enzymes responsible for influencing the cancer cells to increase in number and size. The medicine also stops the growth of blood vessels within the cancerous tumors. A combination of the two actions is enough to control the cancer cells. The body can now be capable of fighting and eliminating the cancer cells because they cannot grow and multiply.
